Class Descriptions

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is the staple class of our studio.  These classes utilize the Stott Pilates reformer and various accessories to provide an exhilarating and full body experience.

Each class will target core, abdominal strength and focus on the lengthening and strengthening of the small (hidden) muscles that define how we move, stabilize and ultimately protect our most vulnerable parts of the body. This class is not easy, but is most certainly rewarding from many different avenues.

HIIT

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is challenging. It takes your cardio workout to another level, as you push your pace out of your comfort zone.

You’ll work up a sweat fast, working at a very intense level and then backing off for a slower recovery period, followed by another round of high intensity. We will utilize a variety of equipment (Trampoline, Chair, Tower, Reformer, Barre) throughout this high intensity workout.

Circuit

Get ready... it's 1min 45sec over and over again with 1 of the TPL instructors kickin' your boootay!

Explore new repertoire with a lineup of unique Pilates equipment in this high intensityPilates class. You will find yourself on Reformer, Tower, Chair, Barre, and more!

30 Min Power Lunch

(Cardio Trampoline)

This class will utilize the CARDIO TRAMPOLINE on the Pilates Reformer to give you a 30 min Power, Cardio Workout.

The workout, designed to stimulate both cardiovascular and muscular effectiveness is ideal for both the recreational and professional athlete. Discover how to combine progressive plyometric intervals, varying both in length and intensity, with muscular strength and endurance moves on the vertical mini trampoline. The routine features non-traditional Pilates exercises that use the incredible diversity of the Reformer to effectively train both concentric and eccentric muscular ability.

Stretch & Stability

It is true that in some classes we do not offer enough time to complete a full body stretch over a longer period of time. Therefore, we developed this new class 'Stretch and Stability'!

This class begins and ends with a quiet/dark environment, moves at a slow pace and offers challenging stability exercises. It will require you to focus and have individual reflection on the mind/body focus on the smallest, connective muscles throughout the body. This class does a great job of breaking up your week filled with higher intensity pilates classes. Increase your movement with this new variety of body challenges.

Teacher in Training

'This class is led by (2) instructors (One of which is currently in training and Studio Owner, Leslie).

This class is great for people who have little experience with Equipment Pilates. The class size is limited and we utilize your body to create many individual scenarios for our teachers in training.

The pace of this class is  slower than the average Reformer class and provides a more in depth explanation for YOUR BODY in PILATES!

You will achieve a full body workout with some interruptions for explanation.
